Code of Ethics for Nepalese IMLs

  1. The foremost responsibility of a leader is to prioritize the care and well-being of their clients at all times.
  2. Leaders must operate within the limits of their physical, technical, and experiential capabilities.
  3. Members of the NMLA are obligated to accurately represent their membership status and certification levels in the organization.
  4. NMLA members must uphold a professional demeanor that reflects positively on the NMLA, its members, and the profession of IMLs.
  5. Members are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism. They must not present third-party clients as their personal clients or engage in personal business dealings with third-party clients.
  6. Adherence to this Code of Ethics is a fundamental duty for all leaders associated with the NMLA.
